The Heritage Of Pina Bausch

Pina Bausch dies surprisingly on 30 June 2009. She leaves behind an internationally sought-after dance theatre that has to find itself anew. How can Pina Bausch's work be passed on, how can such a legacy be kept alive? Ten years later, the ensemble, the new artistic director and important companion of Pina Bausch dare to take a look into the future of Wuppertal's dance theatre. Experienced dancers of dance theatre such as Mechthild Großmann, Daphnis Kokkinos and Jo Ann Endicott, the new artistic director Bettina Wagner-Bergelt, companions such as Lutz Förster and Peter Pabst, Pina Bausch's son Salomon, as well as international partners from London and Paris will have their say.
