Anna Netrebko At The Waldbühne Berlin

  • Waldbühne Berlin © ZDF / Jule Roehr

The Waldbühne Berlin is the amazing venue for 20,000 spectators where Anna Netrebko performed open air for the first time in 2004. Now, in the summer of 2017, she was back again for a night full of music and magic. The Russian star soprano was joined by her husband, the internationally acclaimed Azerbaijanian tenor Yusif Eyvazov. The evening’s repertoire included popular arias and opera scenes by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. Also part of the programme: love songs by the Russian composer Igor Krutoy, who wrote the romantic pieces specifically for Netrebko and Eyvazov. A perfect summer night’s music from Berlin!
