Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti Sings Rossini
The 9th Grand Festival of the Russian National Orchestra. This evening devoted to the works and memory of Alberto Zedda, who conducted the RNO on several occasions, including at four Grand Festivals. The memorial concert’s programme included most of the 2014 Rossini recording in which Zedda collaborated with soprano Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti. She made her international breakthrough at Operalia, a very prestigious opera competition organized by Plácido Domingo. Today, she continues to receive major awards, including Europe’s most important media prize ECHO Klassik in the Best Solo Album of the Year category.
