Lee Ranaldo Electric Trim Trio

Lee Ranaldo, one of the former pillars of Sonic Youth, released a new solo album, Electric Trim in September 2017. Collaborators include Sharon Van Etten, Kid Millions (aka Man Forever), as well as his longtime friend and collaborator Nels Cline (Wilco). Ranaldo collaborated with New York author Jonathan Lethem (Motherless Brooklyn / The Fortress Of Solitude) for the lyrics of six of his songs. Filmed at the Epicerie Moderne in Lyon, France in March 2018, Lee’s stage performance takes us to the crossroads of Neil Young and Wilco where we find a Lee Ranaldo sometimes psychedelic, folk rock, but always freethinking.
