Ane Brun & Gothenburg Symphony

In the Gothenburg Symphony’s multi-annual project Popical, leading contemporary artists meet musicians from the orchestra in cross-over collaborations. This is a long-awaited meeting between Ane Brun, Gothenburg Symphony and conductor Hans Ek. Ane Brun’s debut album Spending Time With Morgan was released in 2003 on her own label DetErMineRecords. It was during a time when it suddenly swarmed with boys and girls with acoustic guitars, and everyone would be releasing their own records. Most of them are now just a parenthesis in the history of music. Others have continued, released albums and toured. Some have become successful and Ane Brun is definitely one of the latter.
