Say "symphonic metal" and most will instantly think of Apocalyptica. The Finnish have indeed become the paragons of the genre, not surprising for a group who originates from a country that cultivates its classical culture (Jean Sibelius, Esa-Pekka Salonen...) as well as metal (Nightwish, Him, Kovasikajuttu...).
