The Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra plays the Symphony No. 5 by Dmitri Shostakovich under conductor Cathrine Winnes. Professor Jon-Roar Bjorkvold met Shostakovich when he studied in the former Soviet Union. As a part of the concert, he – together with the orchestra and the conductor – presents the composer's work.
