Back To The Palace
A concert by countertenor Andreas Scholl and lutenist Edin Karamazov marked the opening of the Bersa Brothers Concert Hall in the Rector’s Palace, Zadar. The Rector’s Palace, dating from the13th century, was completely destroyed by shellfire during the Croatian War in 1991. Thanks to European funds, the Palace has been reconstructed and handed over to its users, the National Museum and the Zadar Concert Office, which organized this concert to mark the beginning of their moving into the beautiful spaces within the ancient palace.
