BBC Proms: CBSO, Leila Josefowicz & Allan Clayton Conducted by Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla

Rising star conductor Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla returns with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to the Royal Albert Hall to explore the theme of political and artistic freedom with Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 and his Fifth Symphony. The brilliant and fierce solo part of Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto in D major is interpreted by none other than the Canadian violin virtuoso Leila Josefowicz.
