Blasko
Sarah Blasko is a pioneer of the Australian indie music scene, walking the line between commercial success and artistic integrity with dignity. Regarded as one of our most successful female singer-songwriters, this film follows Sarah as she embarks upon her most ambitious creative challenge: to conceive and write a new album of songs from scratch in a live theatre space with her long-time collaborators. Her story involves an upbringing in the midst of religious missionaries and the loss of her mother in her early twenties. Narrated by Sarah herself, this film is an intimate portrait of an artist at a crucial turning point.
