Having sung Juliet and enjoyed standing ovations at the Vienna State Opera, met crowds of fans after Norma at the Opera of Trieste, received a high appreciation for her canto of Thaïs at the Salzburg Festival, Marina at her home in Latvia is doing dishes and sorting suitcases. "I like to search for diversity in the voice and the ability to play a role in opera as an actress. I can interpret the music in a different way than it has been done before me", soprano Marina Rebeka says about her various roles on the opera stages worldwide.
