Boris Berezovsky And Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra
Following Boris Berezovsky’s London debut at the Wigmore Hall in 1988, The Times described him as "an artist of exceptional promise, a player of dazzling virtuosity and formidable power"; two years later that promise was fulfilled when he won the Gold Medal at the 1990 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Alexander Sladkovsky is acclaimed as an aristocrat amongst the new generation of Russian conductors. Since 2010 he is the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra in the city of Kazan (Tatarstan, Russia). Programme of the concert: Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 1 for Piano and Orchestra.
