Boris Berezovsky has established a remarkable reputation as both the most powerful of virtuoso pianists and a musician of unique insight and sensitivity. Vasily Petrenko studied at the St Petersburg Conservatoire and in October 2007 was named Young Artist of the Year at the annual Gramophone Awards. In 2010, he won the Male Artist of the Year at the Classical Brit Awards. Programme of the concert: Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 3 for Piano and Orchestra, Strauss' Don Juan and Bizet's L’Arlésienne Suite No. 2.
