With the growing number of composers drawing on the popular traditions of the American continent, the idea of hybrid American music, combining the old and the new world, is on its way. George Gershwin will offer a synthesis of the most original, between Broadway, jazz, ragtime of the 1920s, and classical language. The music evening Broadway Suite, with Richard Ducros (saxophone) and Tristan Pfaff (piano), proposes to revisit these works nourished by the vitality of the new world.
