Caterina Valente is a woman of many faces. In one country she is known for her hit Schlager songs, in the next for her bossa nova, and in yet another for her jazz music. Some know her as an actress, some as an entertainer, and others as a fantastic musician. And still, the dimensions of her extraordinary career have stayed unknown to many. Beside selected performances, interviews and recordings of her, the film will also close up on the private side of Caterina Valente. The family supports the film and will open its private archives for it.
