Discofoot!

Get your funk on! Get down and boogie! Bust a groove! Discofoot is an ass kicking, DJ spinning, maybe even twerkin’ free styling battle, where football’s rules are twisted and thrashed by dance. Discofoot is a modern dance piece created by Petter Jacobsson and Thomas Caley, and performed by the Ballet de Lorraine. Exploring the many possibilities of combining football and dance, the film is an all-inclusive project targeting both football and dance lovers, as well as anyone who’s never seen a football match or a dance performance. There are a total of 24 dancers, 1 DJ, 1 referee, 3 jury judges, 2 coaches and a live commentator, performing the piece at the Place Stanislas in Nancy.
