Dancer, actor, pianist and drummer, Fred was an excellent musician who used to swing with the greatest jazzmen. His was just as good a musician as a choreographer and knew how to marry tap dance with all the variations of modernity. He was four years old when he started dancing on the scenes of Vaudeville, and continued up to the age of 80 to spread the fire of dance.
