Hamlet
The King of Denmark is dead. His widow, Gertrude, has married his brother, Claudius. The dead King's ghost appears to his son, Prince Hamlet, saying that he was murdered by Claudius and asking Hamlet to avenge him. Hamlet chastises his mother for marrying Claudius. Discovering Ophelias father, Polonius, spying on them, Hamlet kills him. Laertes, Polonius' son, returns to avenge his father's death and he and Claudius conspire to kill Hamlet. Ophelia is driven mad by Hamlets rejection and the death of her father. She is discovered drowned in a stream. Her death further provokes Laertes and he challenges Hamlet to a duel. Hamlet accepts the challenge. Many deaths ensue...
