Heavenly Music

500 years ago, new controversial ideas and music spread and dramaticly changed Europe. Without fear and with hartfelt conviction Martin Luther wrote down 95 sentences that challenged everythng. The Reformation was initiated. And music was in the very core of this revolution. To Luther music was essential in every path of life. Using rythms and melodies, Luther and the other protestants rapidly reached people from all walks of life, rich and poor. Both Christian religions, the catholic and the protestant, are through the centuries intertwined and have borrowed from each other – Enriching the cultural heritage of the world and its many religions, the music developed during the last 500 years.
