The last two years have been a new dividing line for the Latvian-born opera star Elina Garanca. She enjoys the prime of her beautiful voice, and the power of her personality conquers audiences all over the world. The film follows the singer in New York as she says her farewell to Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier, in Munich as she prepares for the title-role in Donizetti’s La Favorite and in Gottweig enjoying moments of silence during a night concert at the festival Garanca and Friends. Living her private life between her home in Riga and Malaga, Elina reflects on her life.
