Angelin Preljocaj’s choreographic tale La Fresque is based on an Asian traditional myth in which, on a stormy day, a traveler who seeks refuge in a temple discovers a fresco and falls deeply in love with a young girl depicted on the wall. He crosses the painting to be united with his beloved one. Preljocaj also takes us accross the mirror on a mysterious reverie, leaving us between dream and reality. Transported by Nicolas Godin’s electronic music and Constance Guisset’s scenery and videos, the journey through time and space begins.
