La Mécanique De L'Histoire – Monuments En Mouvement

  • Yoann Bourgeois at Panthéon © Les Films Jack Fébus

Yohann Bourgeois wears several hats, he is a circus artist, dancer, choreographer and a trampolinist. He takes possession of the Panthéon for a performance in which the poetry of both the movements and the bodies starts a dialog with the Foucault Pendulum: La mécanique de l'Histoire, une tentative d'approche d'un point de suspension de Yoann Bourgeois – Monuments en Movement. Acrobats and equilibrists equipment is installed in each circle that rhythms the map of the Panthéon. Thus, he achieves his goal and the viewer oscillates between vertigo and awe at the rhythm of the pendulum.
