Masaaki Suzuki is an organ virtuoso known around the world for his performances of works by Bach. He visits historical organs in cities around Germany and performs Bach’s masterpieces. The organ in Freiburg charms with a French elegance, while the one in Altenburg creates delicate harmony like chamber music. The harmony coming from the organ in Naumburg is tender and full-bodied. The music travelogue features not only the beauty of the streets and the churches but also the abundance of colourful organ music.
