Telemann, Montanari and Vivaldi are the companions chosen by the Swiss baroque flautist for his chamber music journey as a conductor and soloist. Along with him, six musicians form a tight-knit ensemble which enthrals audiences everywhere. Transcending music and emphasising even the smallest details, the performance is imbued with a spectacular dimension. Steger seems to wield his flute like a weapon, leaving space for little else, attracting to his unique personality the emotional tension that every audience fully appreciates.
