  • Wilhelm Furtwängler © Accentus Music

The great seminal catastrophe of 1914 was not merely a historical upheaval for politics and society. Music as well had lost its political innocence. But can music really be political? Following up on the first two films of the documentary trilogy Music in Times of War and Revolution, Music and Power embarks on a search for the political aspects of music. Offering historical examples, it deals with various standpoints of music’s political moments.
