Pierre Favre shared the stage with Louis Armstrong and Josephine Baker before he became a pioneering solo drummer. Today, the Swiss musician looks back on a life full of turns and wonders. When asked to play with Eric Clapton or Chick Corea, for instance, Favre followed his musical instincts and declined the offer. Such radical decisions may have prevented Favre from becoming rich and famous, but they've made him the person every artist wants to be: truly unique. On the occasion of his 80th birthday, Favre travels through his life along with filmmaker Alexis Amitirigala. A roadtrip of discovery.
