During the Holy Week, at the Misteria Paschalia Festival in Krakow, the French ensemble le Poème Harmonique, conducted by Vincent Dumestre, performs a compilation of sacred pieces composed by Claudio Monteverdi while he was Maestro di Capella at the San Marco Cathedral in Venice. Le Poème Harmonique, specialised in early music, is an orchestra unlike any other. It often collaborates with artists we rarely count in the ranks of baroque music.
