Senza Mamma – Ermonela Jaho Rehearses Suor Angelica

Albanian soprano Ermonela Jaho, famous for her extraordinary expressivity, rehearses Puccini's Suor Angelica at Bavarian State Opera in Munich. This production is being staged by the young Dutch director Lotte de Beer (Director of the Year 2016), who has made a name for herself with very musical, contemporary productions that go beyond the duality of director's theatre and museal opera. The opera is conducted by the General Music Director of the Bavarian State Opera, Kirill Petrenko.
