Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui: Fractus V

Fractus V combines the talents of five dancers with different nationalities and styles (be it circus, lindy hop, hip hop, breakdance or flamenco): Dimitri Jourde, Johnny Lloyd, Fabian Thomé, Patrick "Twoface" Seebacher and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. They give substance to the theories of Noam Chomsky, American linguist and philosopher, interested in the questions of objectivity and manipulation in the relationships between individuals and society. Freedom of expression is at the heart of Fractus V. Accompanied by four musicians from Asia and Africa, a multicultural encounter that emphasizes the importance of taking a step back and listening to the other.
