Sing it Loud tells an unbelievable story: every year Tanzania hosts a national choral competition. The performance of a self-composed spiritual song in the Tanzanian tradition and, as an obligatory programme, the performance of a four-voice Luther chorale, a very difficult task for Tanzanian singers, is required. The documentary accompanies singers from three choirs from different social strata to the competition's final.
