  • © Burkhard Bartsch / Governatorato SCV – Direzione dei Musei / MMGP Musei Vaticani

The Sistine Chapel Choir, the world's oldest choir, performs a very special live concert at the mesmerising Sistine Chapel in the Vatican in 2016. Palestrina comprises the world premiere recording of the 1567 first edition of Palestrina's Missa Papae Marcelli together with a selection of motets conveying the essential message of divine compassion. The album has been defined by the Pope as "a revolution of tenderness and love".
