In 2018, the protestors of ‘68 will celebrate their 50th anniversary. Half a century after Woodstock, the rebellious artist is back: Protest music is experiencing a revival all over the world – with young musicians who are serious and above all outspoken. The series Sound of Protest brings them together with the well-known warriors of protest music. Each episode features young artists and old heroes sharing their music and political thoughts. From classic singer-songwriter tunes to a-capella pieces, from raps to electro beats – the series follows them writing new songs and performing them on the streets.
