In 2012, a special concert in honour of sax player Frank Morgan was held at the San Quentin State Prison. Between numbers trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis told the life story of Frank Morgan (1933-2007), who became a drug addict early on and was in and out of prison for the best part of his life.
