Sonia Friedman is today's most prolific and successful theatre producer, with over 160 plays on Broadway and the West End since 2002. She has won 8 Tonys and 12 Olivier Awards. Her output and success in bigger than Britain's National Theatre, with a staff one-tenth the size. To achieve this she operates in a world of creative frenzy. This film follows her at work in London and New York on some of her musicals and plays with musical elements, such as Dreamgirls, Farinelli and the King, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
