An Orchestra imbued with the enthusiasm of young people devoted to baroque music and committed to a project to enhance the status of and promote Protestant Reformation music. The main focus is on works by Telemann and J.S. Bach which have made history and are interpreted here under the direction of the skilful Swiss conductor Lorenzo Ghirlanda. For over 20 years he has been active in Berlin, specialising in baroque repertoires. This project has been achieved in partnership with Thüringer Bachwochen and involves the outstanding voice of Christoph Prégardien.
