Stars on Street is a musical experiment with hidden camera. What happens when internationally renowned artists are torn away from their usual workplace, such as concert halls or the opera stage, and present themselves to the audience on their own in the street? Can the musicians win the people’s attention without the usual mechanisms and conditions of the cultural world? With hidden camera, the documentary accompanies Aleksey Igudesman, Ildiko Raimondi, Martin Grubinger, Nathalia Ushakova and Herbert Lippert in an attempt to set themselves up as a street artist.
