The Conductor Christoph Eschenbach – From Silence Into Music.

"Music means everything!" This simple sentence reflects the story of Christoph Eschenbach. After the traumatic events of his early childhood he fell silent and it was only through music that he began to speak again. For the film he visits his native town Breslau, travels to the places of his childhood and youth in the county of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany and to Paris, his adopted home. Especially important to him is the support of young talents. Among the artists he discovered are many stars of today, like the pianist Lang Lang.
