The cast featured in this production includes internationally-renowned singers who are widely considered specialists in the baroque repertoire: tenor Carlo Allemano, endowed with a powerful and flexible vocal range, contralto Delphine Galou, a young, established performer, baritone Riccardo Novaro, a highly regarded performer of bel canto repertoire, and the young soprano Roberta Mameli, who has starred in several Vivaldi recordings. Conductor and harpsichordist Ottavio Dantone is considered one of today’s leading conductors of baroque opera.
