Puccini's Tosca from the Norwegian Opera & Ballet: A brand new performance directed by Calixto Bieito – a performance highly successful which has created discussions and engagement both with the critics and the audience. It has also created great excitement for the soloists, the choir and orchestra and the musical performance. The original love drama is still essential in the opera, but Bieito has chosen to focus on the freedom of art in a world that is making still greater demands on benefits and profit.
