2018-19 Season Opening Concert

The Czech Philharmonic opened its 123rd concert season in grand style with Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 in C Minor (Resurrection). This was also Semyon Bychkov’s inaugural concert as the new Chief Conductor and Music Director of the Czech Philharmonic. Introducing themselves as soloists were Christiane Karg and Elisabeth Kulman, and the Prague Philharmonic Choir sang the choral part.
