One of the most sought after pianists of our time, Alice Sara Ott held a world tour under the concept Nightfall during the 2018/2019 season. The tour was opened by this concert held in Tokyo. Ott had said that she had experienced an incident that made her contemplate about life and death. On stage filled with tranquil blue light, she poured her soul into performing Gaspard De La Nuit, that requires the most sophisticated technique, plus pieces by other French composers including Satie. The recording was made in 4K and 5.1 surround sound.
