Concert For The 100th Anniversary Of The Founding Of Czechoslovakia

With this special concert, the Czech Philharmonic under the baton of its Chief Conductor and Music Director Semyon Bychkov celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The gala programme consisted of music by Czech composers, featuring the overture and dances from Smetana’s opera The Bartered Bride, the Concerto for Two String Orchestras, Piano, and Timpani by Bohuslav Martinu, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 (From The New World).
