Gil Shaham is regarded as a master violinist who offers perfect techniques and characteristic warm tone. The programme captured the Violin Partita No. 3 by Bach as well as Franck’s Violin Sonata in A major which he performed with pianist Akira Eguchi whom Shaham regards as a “fine musical expert.” The recital is presented by two fine artists who met more than 30 years ago and have played together numerous times and have deep understanding of each other.
