In China, in legendary times: The terrible Princess Turandot, insensitive and neurotic, will marry the prince who will solve three riddles. His cruelty is opposed to the goodness of the young slave Liu, loyal and benevolent. Calaf, a foreign prince will succeed the test, dazzled by the beauty of Turandot, who will eventually devote herself to him, after the heartbreaking sacrifice of the faithful and generous Liu.
