The Verbier Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with the most phenomenal lineup of soloists, culminating in an all-star evening with the greatest string players, pianists (in works for 2, 4, 6, 8 and 16 hands) and Valery Gergiev on the podium (available formats: 130’, 90’, 2x60’, 45'). The 2019 programmes also include Christoph Eschenbach conducting Mahler's Symphony No. 4, Gabor Takacs-Nagy in Haydn's The Creation and Gergiev in Rimsky-Korsakov's Sheherazade. Let's not forget the stupendous piano recitals of Evgeny Kissin, Seong-Jin Cho and the Kristof Barati/Lucas Debargue duo. Early music is also represented with Magdalena Kozena and La Cetra Barockorchester Basel.
