The farewell concert of a pianist who was already a legend in his lifetime – Vladimir Horowitz. The event in Moscow began on Sunday 20 April 1986, at four in the afternoon. Many of the fans burst into tears when they heard of the return of their idol after 61 years. His manager Peter Gelb tells the true story of the concert, and Martha Argerich declares her love for Horowitz: “His play is deeply erotic. His eroticism is absolutely amazing; it’s dangerous! I get incredibly excited with him!”
