Wiener Philharmoniker On 8K
To mark the launch of 8K broadcasting service in Japan in full scale, NHK put together a series of recordings of concerts titled The World’s Finest Orchestras presented on 8K-HDR and 22.2 surround sound. As the first in the series, a concert by the Wiener Philharmoniker was recorded at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein. Andris Nelsons, known for his outstanding performances around the world, conducts Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9 – offered in high-resolution images and realistic acoustics.
