Floating – A Ballet Story Of Ruth Vavpotič

The feature/documentary film Floating tells the story of Ruth Vavpotič, the first Slovene choreographer and ballet pioneer. It follows her life from her first ballet steps on Slovene stages to her international successes in the 20s and 30s. The film is an attractive exhibit of a life lead by a Slovene artist in Paris and of the world-famous movement called Ballet Russes which left a historical mark on the overall ballet scene and the beginnings of modern ballet.
