Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G is virtually tailor-made for French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet. Together with Daniel Harding and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra he found a strikingly natural tone which blossomed into a most beautiful rendition of Ravel's masterwork. Berlioz’ four orchestral movements from Romeo And Juliette are a real gem and rarely heard in concert halls. (The works of this concert are also available as separately assembled programmes.)
