A documentary which focuses on the most lucky and productive years of a Czech composer Karel Svoboda. Karel Svoboda is best known for his life spanning collaboration with the golden voice of Prague – legendary singer Karel Gott. Starting a career in the turbulent 1960s Prague, Karel Svoboda was able to push through the iron curtain with his talent, composing film music, giving his musical voice to Maja The Bee and other German-Japanese coproductions. Seen from the perspective of his son, director Petr Klein Svoboda, we will get a closer look at the composer not only as a professional but also as a father and a friend.
